Available Items

November 28, 2007 - Since the release of the O Gauge 2008 Volume 1 catalog, several discrepancies have been noted in the printed copy and are noted below.
RAILKING STEAM ENGINES

Page 13, Pennsylvania K4s 4-6-2 Pacific
Item 30-1476-1, Tuscan Red version, is indeed prototypical; at least 10 K4s are known to have been painted Tuscan with gold striping in the 1930s, to head up premier passenger trains.

Per prototype, black versions will not have white running-board stripes.
RAILKING DIESELS AND MU CARS

All road names will have square end windows, not porthole end windows as shown in some catalog photos.
South Shore color scheme is incorrectly pictured in catalog; actual models will have correct South Shore scheme: orange body with maroon stripe above the windows.
PREMIER STEAM ENGINES

Power car (engine) is incorrectly shown with step on front pilot; per prototype, this step will not be present on the model (catalog back cover shows model correctly, without step).
Burlington version 20-2888-1 is the Zephyr, not the Pioneer Zephyr (a name given to the original Zephyr after the period depicted by the model)

Unlike other road names that are available in three road numbers, the Cotton Belt モSpirit of 1776ヤ paint scheme (items 20-2878-1 and 20-2878-2) will be offered in only one road number, as just one prototype engine was painted in this scheme.

Page 128 - 129, E33 and E44 Electric Engines
Each road name will be offered in three road numbers, except the Juice Train set, which will be offered in only one road number.
Note that all road names are prototypical including Norfolk and Western, which purchased the Virginian Railway and painted one of its acquired E33s in N&W paint before selling all of them to the New Haven.
PREMIER PASSENGER CARS

Pages 162-163, Heavyweight モMadisonヤ Passenger Cars
Several baggage cars and combines are incorrectly shown with porthole-window baggage doors; actual models will have more prototypical rectangular-window doors.
